Is this the name of the virus that infected your computer?

Edited the above to correct spelling of last name.
During some correspondence with Ed last week, I received a blank email from Ed with an attachment called 'jimi_hendricks.mp3...'. It did not display anything, but several days later, the shit hit the fan. McAfee VS identified it as the above. VS was unable to clean it out of some of the important Windows files it corrupted. McAfee has a fix for it on their web site, but by the time I found it, it was too late. Had to write zeros to the HD, and format it. It seems that the more you use the computer, the more the virus spreads.
I have upgraded McAfee VS, and enabled the email scan to try to prevent future problems.

Edited to add that I am assuming that this was unintentional on Ed's part.

I got a virus email from a friend a couple days ago.  It looked funny so I called him before opening it and he said he didn't send anything so I deleted it.  Sometimes these viruses attack the person's email and replicate themselves and the person never knows it.

Virus creation should be a capital crime.
