I wasn't sure where else to post this but I'm trying to spread the word. Check out www.FreeRepublic.com and see what NFPD is all about. (See http://www.freerepublic.com/forum/a3b0fb14932b7.htm )
We'll show them to destroy guns! This is our counter to the United Nations' declaration of July 9th as UN Small Arms Destruction Day (see http://www.iansa.org/calendar/2001/ngo/index.htm )

We're normally closed Mondays but decided that this is just too important to miss. We WILL be open Monday, July 9th. Please tell your local dealers about this and hopefully we can get this to be TRULY a nationwide annual event!

I ordered my CMP Garand last week and bought an IAI M1 Carbine at a gun show yesterday. So it's not the 9th, but I've done my part.

I was looking at the M1 at the gun show, said "no, I'll be good" and walked away. Halfway to the door, I though to myself, "I spent $2 for the bridge toll, $7 to park and $8 to get in. No way am I going to waste that money and not have anything to show for it!" [:D]

My dealer should receive the Mossberg 590A1 I ordered on Thursday or Friday. That's about as close as I could get it to the 9th.

Bought a new HK91 Saturday, God I love this gun!!! This is as close to the 9th that I can get, cant afford another gun that soon(but if I could you better belive I would)[rocket]
