Get in line.
ETA: I don't have an issue with female cops. About 90% of the time it's not an issue. But when the fists start flying they can't handle it. Same goes for small male officers. Not being mean just practicle. Loved having a female cop when I arrested females so they could do the frisk. But when it comes to fighting and I mean real fighting they get to work the radio and call for help. |

Not a big Coulter fan. She has been known to make stuff up in the past...but i like this article.
... Ann, if you're reading this thread - consider this post here as a formal proposal to our marriage
Examples please? |
She is so right...and often is.
She's a breath of fresh air. A commentator who tells the truth and gets coveraged both at the same time. I approve. CJ |
Believe it or not but it will take me till tomorrow as I have to go looking or it and see if I can find either a video clip or printed response. Not that I don’t agree with her but she has quoted people in the past and when asked about the quote people would say I never said that. Just a little circumspect. I want to say this is mostly done in her books. |

... She would SHRED ANY OF YOU BIOTCHES to pieces.
... She's welcome to lay her head upon my pillow any time |
And some have been know to make up stuff about her. But I'm sure you're willing to put your money where your ass is and provide a few verifiable references. |
Id hit it I just wouldnt read everything she wrote down or listen to everything she said....actually I cant back that up id be wipped! |
Crazy world we live in, where Ann can make millions, and be loved and hated, just for advocating common sense.
Any of us could do the same thing. We just wouldn't sound as smart, or look as good doing it. God bless Ann Coulter. |

Wow. One misquote of history. Hmm.
Now let us stack her one verifiable mistake against the verifiable mistakes and lies of Elanor Clift.... But I suppose that is no fun.... |
Nah. I've seen her debating skills. Her kung-fu is glaringly average. There are plenty of people on this board who, with some prep time, would own her and send her packing. I've read her material, her latest book, and critiqued her debates. She is overrated. Most of you guys simply have a difficult time seeing past her physical appearance. |
I am not all that fond of her physical appearance. She needs a sammich, STAT. Laura Ingram is much better looking.
I don't think she is attractive, and i don't think she comes off well at all on TV debates. But man can she lay it out on paper! She is fearless and razor sharp with what she says. I enjoy reading her.
Judging from the one and only time I was pulled over by a fem-cop, this is probably true, I could not help but wonder if she was going to write me up or shoot me on the spot as her hand never left the butt of her gun,and her body language screamed "Make my day asshole!!" I shit you not!! At the time I actually feared for my life!!.... |

'Another study I've devised involves asking a woman to open a jar of pickles.'
That's a great one! Eric The(Admiring)Hun |
Yup. The one and only time I've ever had a firearm pointed at me was by a female officer, shaking pretty hard, with her finger ON THE TRIGGER. She was scared shitless and standing on unstable ground, to boot. It scared the piss out of me. Long story, but I got let go with a warning. |

30 or more years ago, common sense was something that came natural to many people....at least in the rural areas where I grew up and have fortunately lived my life. However, in what appears to be vast areas of this country, and even here, it appears it is becoming a very high priced commodity as the older generations die off.
I wonder if the education sysem could get over the self-esteem thing long enough to at least attempt to "teach" common sense (read non-pc) for awhile? Probably too much to ask, especially in the blue states. Just a wacky thought. |
I won't ask for an Ann......I'd settle for a republican. Southern women seem to all be democrats......
That isnt making stuff up. She actually thought it WAS fact. It is a misquote of something she thought was true but was corrected on. As far as "I'll get back to you on that", that isnt a formal reply promise. I doubt everyone has time to just mail whichever network with "Sorry I was wrong" if there is a misquote. I know that when I say something and am corrected, I am not making it up. I thought it was true and was mistaken. Coulter still has all the credibility she had before with me. |
You must be looking for love in all the wrong places, then. Tennessee women are all Demos? You need to get to Texas, where all the really good looking chicks are Republicans! Eric The(AllMySouthernChicksAreRepublican)Hun |

Debating is to life as playing Risk is to waging war. Who cares? Kerry was a good debater. Who cares? That you have "read her material, her latest book, and critiqued her debates" certainly makes me feel better, and I know Ann is relieved as well. I'm sure if you contact her she would be glad to hire you as an editorial assistant. |
Post from Wobblin-Goblin -
Where'd you see her debating skills? On Fox? Even on Fox, they seldom let her get a word in edgewise with her liberal opponent. Have you seen in her in a formal debate, or in a lengthy exchange with someone else? If so, when and where? I'd like to watch those debates and exchanges, as well. Eric The(Inquisitive)Hun |

TN, MS, AL......... Too many folks around here still have that 'democratic party of yesterday' mentality, and it rubs off on their kids, who don't have enough sense to know better......... Maybe Ann could set up a re-education camp here in the south....... |
All I've ever seen is her on FOX, and she comes across kind of childish to me. A lot of "I know you are but what am I" type replies. In print I love her stuff. Very sarcastic and she finds ways to turn arguements around on libs which is always funny. Everyone can mis-quote a person or incorrectly cite a reference. If they can only find one or two that does not make a person a liar. If her books were filled with them that would be something else. |
Once again, "I love Ann".
And, as far as the "giant elephant in the room", i.e., the silliness of women police officers, I've been saying that for years. Women make great interviewers for small children and some women victims. They have no place on the street. Or as guards for prisoners, such as in Atlanta. I know many of you disagree with me on that. But that is my honest opinion. |
+1 I like this article, but she's VERY hit and miss. A smart, yet conniving skank. IMHO. If she were a wine, she'd be $6.99 per gallon box. |
I like it that "women have better listening skills" gets a pass. No feminist will call bullshit on this.
Ann isn't a debater, she's a bull in the china shop ...of stupid ideas. She does cite plenty of studies and makes you aware that some of the BS is "without merit" let alone studies. The phony stuff she throws in from time to time is meant to be humourous but I'm sure her detractors will zero in on it as some proof of her sanity. Ann for President of Harvard |
We need Ann, you nay-sayers. She's attractive and extremely well spoken- and a conservative. Liberals hate her with a burning passion because she tells it like it is, not what the thought police want her to say.
Rock on, Ann.
Love it. |
+1 OMG, I actually agree with Old_Painless |
There. That wasn't so hard, now was it? |
Let me put it to you this way: If I was planning on having a round table discussion (slash) debate between a couple of conservatives and a couple of leftists...Ann would not be invited. She resorts to tactics that merely expose her shallow preparedness. It's as if regardless of the subject matter, her answers are always the same. With my educational, public service, and occupational background (BA, History; BS, Public Speaking/Speech Education, former newspaper reporter/columnist, elected to CT General Assembly, Founder/Owner/President of a small concrete construction company), I think I am able to critique the published material and live performances of any public person. Perhaps you disagree. That's fine. This is the internet even the most unqualified people can voice their opinion and somebody will listen. |
Even when we had cable, I never got the Fox News Channel. As far as the other sources, they were various news and political forums which I'm sure included CNN, PBS, radio, etc. We haven't had cable in a year and a half, so the actual programs are a distant memory. |
