Who do you eat lunch with?

[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Who do you eat lunch with?

Most days, I eat lunch where I work, I bring it from home. But everyday the same two women are in the breakroom with me and every single day one of them comes in and says that she don't have time to eat and then stays there longer than I do. Then after they get settled they talk about how the are going to/have been to/ will be weighed at Curves (Which I am starting to think that it is a cult). I guess that is why I only take about 20 mintues of my lunch instead of my full 45.

So who do you each lunch with?

Myself...at my desk...eating the SHTF supplies I have here at work.
Eating right now...a concoction of instant rice, cup-of-soup (tomato) and 1/2 pack of foil wrapped cooked ground beef.

Testing out different recipies for camping/shtf scenarios.

usually i walk home and eat, or go out and eat with one of my coworkers like i did today then go home and read arfcom. im a maintance tech at an apartment complex and i live here. makes things convient to say the least.

I usually grab a sandwich from Blimpie or something close by and eat here at my desk alone while surfing Arfcom and the web. I don't have any close friends here at work that I associate with. I actually prefer my privacy most of the time. Sometimes a coworker will stand around while I'm eating and I HATE it. Sometimes my best friend will be in the area while he's working and we'll go eat though.

I go home for lunch most of the time. Just me and the cats. Sometimes I go out to the local taqueria, usually by myself.

Most days I'm able to pick my wife up and eat with her. Very nice to have the flexibility in my schedule to do that. Those who know her know how pleasant it is to spend time with her.

Most days, I go out for lunch with the boobalicious secretary. Today, though, I met a friend of mine for a triple BLT at a shit-hole bar. If Ms. Boobalicious isn't able to go, I go alone. I get enough of the morons that I work with during the day; I'd rather not have my lunch spoiled by their inane drivel. The problem with going to lunch with work people is that they only ever want to talk about work.

Usually with my daughter. I work midnights so I am home in the afternoon. I am usually eating cold food since I feed her first.

Tried to eat in our break room, but when you get 2-3 people wanting to talk to you about work and what I need to do for them, well you become a little anti-social......

I don't eat lunch.
I get an hour for lunch - just long enough for me to get in a 3 mile jog and a shower before getting back to the office.
The jog kind of clears my stress level and gets those endorphins flowing!

Here at my desk with you guys most days - either something I brought from home or something from the Chick-fil-A on the ground floor of my office building.

I used to go out with a crowd from here at the office every day. I would say that I've saved money by "staying in," but I'm sure the deals I've found here on EE have cost much, much more than those lunches would have...

I used to be able to do that! God as my witness, I will be able to do that again someday soon!

Right now, I get off work early so I just wait til I get home to eat. Most of my co-workers are schizo (they'd say the same about me) so we don't do lunch. I use my lunch time as Internet time.

Usually eat by myself as I have enough of the idiots at work. That or with the babe of the office (when she will let me :)).
By the way MANTIS where are you in KY??? Which curves am they talking bout...I work in Frankfort and we got the best THAI restaurant on the planet.
