I was looking for more info on the new proposed AWB and came across these two bills, Thoughts anyone?

50 Caliber Sniper Rifle Reduction Act (Introduced in House)[H.R.654.IH]
To ban the transfer of 50 caliber sniper weapons , and otherwise regulate the weapons in the same manner as machine guns are regulated....in addition 50 caliber sniper weapons pose a significant threat to civil aviation in that they are capable of destroying or disabling jet aircraft... It shall be unlawful for any person to transfer or possess a 50 caliber sniper weapon....

Child Gun Safety and Gun Access Prevention Act of 2005 (Introduced in House)[H.R.246.IH]
To prevent children's access to firearms.  This Act may be cited as the `Child Gun Safety and Gun Access Prevention Act of 2005'... SEC. 2. INCREASING YOUTH GUN SAFETY BY RAISING THE AGE OF HANDGUN ELIGIBILITY AND PROHIBITING YOUTH FROM POSSESSING SEMIAUTOMATIC ASSAULT WEAPONS...SEC. 4. GUN STORAGE AND SAFETY DEVICES FOR ALL FIREARMS.

`(z) It shall be unlawful for any licensed importer, licensed manufacturer, or licensed dealer to sell, transfer, or deliver any firearm to any person (other than a licensed importer, licensed manufacturer, or licensed dealer) unless the transferee is provided with a secure gun storage or safety device.'.

My home is my "secure gun storage" you idiots !  How about increasing the penalties for the theft of a firearm you asshats !
