I am looking for an outdoor club. I went to Illinios Rifle Assn range in Kankakee. They seem pricey and have a fair location. Do not seem to be big on IDPA. Any other suggestions. I only want to pay ~$100 year. I also want to be able to double tap or emply a clip without the range boss crying about some safety excuse bullshit the PC crowd comes up with.

I also do not want to drive more than 2 hours away. I live within 10 miles of Naperville.

Any suggestions?

Try Kenosha WI. If you are able to drive all the way to Kankakee than there are many possibilities. You can ask in the Hometown section as well.

There's a couple places not far from you. Check out Howell's shooting club in Plainfield. Also, there's another Plainfield club- Oak Park Sportsmans Club. I shoot IDPA at both.

The Outdoorsman Sport Shop - 221 Sheridan Rd, Winthrop Harbor, IL 60096 - (847) 746-1331

Take I94W (compass north) to US41 North. US 41 North to IL 173. Turn Right. Take 173 East until it dead ends on Sheridan Road. Turn Left. The outdoorsman is about 2 miles down on the right.
