At a local gunshop they had a integtrally silenced Ruger MKII made by Fisher Manufacturing, they want $794.00 + Tax.

The price sounds nice but are these worth a damn?

What sort of velocity?What sort of noise reduction?

Can it be broken down and cleaned?

I have found from my reading online that some of the cheaper manufacturers silencers work bu slowing down the round a lot, so you get a .22 that will only punch paper. I want to use this thing for pest control and putting down animals that have been hit by cars. This will be my first Class III purchase so any advice would be great.
