I know this may be a stupid question, but could somebody please stoop to my level and tell me

Locite (threadlocker) needs two things to cure:(1) absence of air , and (2) Metal to Metal contact. It is only design to work with metals parts. I would use VersaChem Plastic Weld.
The part number thru NAPA is 765-2420. NAPA |

Use some 2 part epoxy Loctite won't work it degrades plastics
 its an ONLY metal product!!! Either that or try some RTV Silicone this stuff smells bad but works on many applications!!

I agree with sniper_at_1000yrds
This is some kick ass stuff! IIRC it actually bonds the plastic molocules together.

Loc-tite has several different formulas, for several different applications.
They do market a "super glue." The answer is yes, but you are asking the wrong question. LOCTITE application assistance |
