Then why are e they made in the same house as Special Weapons were?

@ 4613 E Ivy St, Mesa, AZ 85205.

Do you want me to drive by the House and take a pic?

BTW:  I asked him if I could see of of his "weapons", before I bought one.  He told me "Nope, you have to by one .  Then you can hold it."  Whats up with that?

I have not seen one for sale in any local gun shops here in Mesa.

This is "Special Weapons" address....
4613 E Ivy st

suite 102

Mesa, AZ 85205

So if they are not the same company then why do they have the same address?

ETA:  I was wrong its not a house, its a Industrial park.

I would be interested in hearing who sad bad about vecotors HK clones. This is hte forst thing I have heard bad about vector guns compared to the constant bad reports regarding BW/SW/TN..

OH and dont play the "until you have handle one" card as I have sold and fired both BW and  SW guns and the vector IMHO is a better clone hands down. The last BW I seen was at the last funshow. It must have been and early one as the welds were sloppy and the finish was ....whats the word I am looking for....unconsistant.

The whole Toad pissing match is just that, a pissing match. But the claims that Bobcat, Spechel, and  Top Notch are not related, is false. DO a little checking and you will see.

I will say that I have seen a couple BW guns that looked pretty good. But I would glady pay more elsewhere to not support a copmany/group of people that has such a bad reputation in regards to CS.
On that note, Vector has a VERY GOOD customer service dept that jumps to help, not get out of the way as some other companies do. My most recent Vector is and UZI which runs 100%, with near perfect fit and finish. I wont buy any other BW guns as IMHO, the ones I have shot did not impress me.
IMHO, go with the Vector. You will be taken care if ever you have any troubles.
Good luck!

You can go online in Texas and look up property throught the web site of the county appraisal district and get the property info.  You can then go to the web site of the State Comptroller or Secretary of State (for the state, not US) and get basic Corporate info on any registered corporation in the state.  That's how you would do it in Texas and I assume the same thing can be done in AZ.

I've had some FTE's with my actual HK 94.

It happens.

I've put..hm...say 1500 rounds through it. I'd have, on average, one FTE with every 360 rounds fired. I have 12 30 round curved mags for it and another 10 straight. I've had FTE's with both curved and straight mags.

Pretty much all FTE's happened on the next-to-last round on the mag, and it was always a random mag; sometimes 3rd, sometimes 9th, etc...when I take it out I usually load everything up and empty it at the range (it's a lot lighter carrying it back to the car that way )

Blaine unfortuately there is a lot of animosity toward Todd and anything he has touched.  The funny thing is that most of these bashers have not even held a SW product but are merely barfing up internet hearsay.  Todds personality definitely has contributed mightily to the stigmata that is carried by his products.  If he had provided good CS and stood by his products he would most likely still would be the top HK clone producer. But his rants especially against ORF is entertaining to say the least.

I have a SW weapon. IGF tweeked and built it.  Totally reliable and no failures of any kind.

Yeah - it's just complete coincidence that the new (and completely separate) company sells EXACTLY the same product as the old company with a shitty reputation.

Really.  Trust us.   Todd would NEVER lie to anyone.

I have a REALLY hard time believe this clown does ANY military sales basesd on his poor people skills.

If the parts are made ny him, then the rifle is made by him.

And almost ALL clone rifles suck.

I've put..hm...say 1500 rounds through it. I'd have, on average, one FTE with every 360 rounds fired.

That is unacceptable for ANY rifle.

I can't believe SteyrAUG hasn't weighed in here.

Anyway....I would have no hesitation dealing with Atlantic...but not for a toad gun.

I don't care what the company's current name is, the reputation precedes them.

+1

Atlantic, may I suggest you not be so fast to defend the trio of Toad, as thus far your company has a good rep, and always on top of things. The damage done is more then you can undo at this point.

Just a suggestion!

I have heard of people having problems with special weapons, I have an SW-5 that runs great.

Had a lot of FTE's at breaking in the rilfle with the included straight mag.  I have since bought 3 30-rounders, and have fired hundreds of rounds at a time with no failures.

Gator,

Where do you live?

I would like to shoot your SW-5.

As I am not allowed to see one before I buy it.

I'd just like to add to that - I woudl ABSOLUTELY buy from Atlantic as well.

I may find it surprising that they would believe that story - but I have heard nothing but good things about their business, and I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them.  I can be remarkably gullible myself at time, and don't see that being overly trusting is a bad thing.

Hey this is ARFCOM, this is what we do best!

EDIT for spelling.

I really really want that V-53 pistol but after a complete and TOTAL NIGHTMARE experience with SW I'm still too traumatized. (I ended getting most of my $ back after 1year & 3 months and bought a REAl 94).

I'll wait to hear more range reports. But no way will I EVER go through that again. I can't believe somebody would shit on customers that bad in the "gun world".

AF, I do appreciate your honesty on your posts in this thread though.

It ain't the weapon, it's the mags..my point was that there's more than one cause for failures in a rifle. (One of the HK mags has a weirdly bent lip.)

I have shot a run of the mill bobcat as well as stated before, it ran fine no problems. I would have no problem buying one.

Why take a chance on getting a speshul/bobcat when you can get an HK clone from Ohio Rapidfire for just a bit more?
