I heard Alec Baldwin is playing the Delta commander [:D]
I saw some photos on aintitcool.com of the movie shoot, and it looks like a extremely gorey movie as well. Guys blown in half, for example. |

Haven´t seen Alec Baldwin´s name up yet, no pics either. Should stay that way. All of you guys, check out the pictures, all i can say is, BREATHTAKING.

I was kidding about Baldwin being in the movie.
The photos are amazing, and the insertion is just like how I imagined it when I read the book. |

I heard over the news radio that the State Department confirmed that they sent these "REAL" Blackhawk helecopters and a small contingent or actual rangers to Morocco for the shooting of the movie.

I heard the same thing....
Those Blackhawks are not just petty slick trash haulers either, they look to be "K" or Kilo models probably from the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment....out of Campbell or Hunter... I can't believe that they are actually going to make a movie about this embarassing event in the history of the United States military.
The men that came out of this as heroes are indeed heroes but they should never of been put in the position to demonstrate their heroism. The operation was a true clusterf***. |

It sounds like its going to be a great movies I think I am going to check out the book before I see the movie. I want to get the complete story.
