If you guys want me to quit working, make your case now. I am not one for wasting my time.

Those who have had issues, I have tried to deal with directly or through the site to resolve them. I understand there are a number of issues still (registration issues, netscape issues) and I am trying to deal with those.

As for the forums, as I stated in my news post, a new update will kick in soon with many of your dreams answered.

For those like Royce, I ask you to either deal with things in a calm and polite manner and show a little dignity, or leave now and save everyone else the hassles.

As a member of both boards who posted a thread on the old board slamming the speed of the site before educating myself in the hugh undertaking by the "volunteers" who own, run, moderate and trouble shoot these sites let me say that first: Thank you very much for the hours everyone puts in here to provide a place for us to hang out and secondly you will never hear another complaint from me about anything to do with the site. When the old board went down I couldn't get IE to work and netscape froze when I came here. I was going through AR15.com withdrawal and it wasn't pretty. [:D] I have since resolved my IE problem and haven't had a glich since. So on behalf of the members from north of the border GoatBoy, Ed Jr & Sr, thanks. Very much appreciated.

More importantly - I KNOW that's the way almost everyone here feels about this board. I sincerely hope you know that..... I feel like apologizing for the whiners here, but whatayagonado. In any business, hobby, hell - any endeavor, the 10%ers are always going to be around (Boy do I know that!), there's nothing anyone can do about it.

So many cliche's come to mind (you can't please everybody all of...), but you already know that. One that pops up right away is "It's a dirty job, but somebody has to do it".......... BULLSHIT! I think we all understand that [u]YOU[/u] DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS!

Thank you for the site that I go to first every time I log on, the site I would pay for if I had to, the site that has saved incalculable money for this [strike]addiction[/strike]hobby, the site where the  baddest (sometimes weirdest), and best spiders on the web hang, the place where people think like me (when they're right), an imperfect site that gets better every day, & the place that I look forward to everyday.

No seriously Goatboy and Ed Sr. are great guys and I for one don't know why I haven't been paying for this site for the last three years.

How about a vendor coming up with something to sell that puts some money in both the AR15.com pocket and yours? Bumper stickers, mouse pads, custom stitching on polo shirts - how about on soft carry bags? It's got to be something relatively cheap that could be customized to put some money in some pockets here.

I checked back in here before I closed this thread to see who else wanted to rip me a new hole.

Aparently many of you are happy, and that re-inforces my reasons for busting my butt in here.

I apologize for getting annoyed and allowing someone to detract from this place, I'll try not to let it happen again, but sometimes when you have little/no time and you know you have to get things done, the last thing you want is someone jumping down your throat acting like they are your sole reason for being.

I'll try to keep pace with you guys in here and your demands... hope the netscrape fixes helped ease many of you.
