One mag I ordered just over a month ago was lost in the mail, a Colt 30rd. Now I have 6 30rounders, 4 Sanchez NIW w/green followers and a Thermold and 1 20ropund Colt. I have a choice between a Colt 20rd or a Colt 30rd. Which one???

That mag wasn't lost. The guy that stole it knows where it is.

Take the best deal on the mag. If you have two good deals, get them both. You don't need to eat the reat of the week.

I would get the 20 since you have 6 thinrty's and only 1 20.

20's are needed in tight areas and shooting prone.

I would get the 20 rounder.  I like to use the 20's at the range and use the 30's when I am just out having fun.

Unless I missed something somewhere they are not making either one of them anymore.[:(]
I would get both...You can never get to many magazines. It is like having to much money, to much ammo, etc...[:)]

Get some "sporter"(20 rnd)mags that are lighter than those big heavy bulky 30 rounders!  Great for hunting and fishing!

I would go for the 20. I only have one 20, it is my most beat up mag, but I use it most often. Maybe I will find another this weekend.

It seems like there's thousands of USGI 30 rounders out there, it's a little harder finding the 20s. If you page through Shotgun News, the 30rd adds outnumber the 20rd about 20-to-1. I know, I'm looking for them. Good Luck

And to think that I bought 200 of those 20 round used USGI mags for $1200 and sold them to AR15 list members for cost plus shipping and a little bit for my troubles.

I like 20's. I use them for special ammo.
I use the 30's for mil./surplus.

I've paid more for my Colt 20's w/ the aluminum follower that any of my 30's.  I think it is alot easier to shoot offhand and prone with a 20 than a 30.  When shooting offhand I hold under the magwell, using the strap.
