All,

Within the next 24 hours, it is my intentions to
have this up on the boards and spread through out
the shooting community.

It is also my hope that we keep this honest and
true as to Lew's debts. We all know how it feels
to be taken advantage of and as unfavorable as
this situation has been for everyone. Lew should
not be taken financial advantage of either.

I want to be very clear on some things.

First, why I did this.

I did not ever expect to see a dime from Mr.
Tippie. It was and remains my desire to stop this
sort of action in our shooting community, but to
stop the defacement of the uniform to which I hold
in the highest regards.

Next, my searching of almost 2 years led me down
many paths. Some of which I will never relate the
details to anyone.
But I had nothing but the best intentions in mind.

Upon my actions, someone in the military contacted
me.
He has taken responsibility to clear Lew's
substantial debts and return their firearms.

his Colonel is setting up payment
plans.

And if you are agreeable to this, you will get
your money back!

Your firearms:
It was never my wish to receive the serial numbers
off your firearms.
That is none of my business.
However, it is my understanding and I am told, the
military has taken possession of many firearms
that were in Mr. Tippie's possession.

So I ask of you.
With the Colonel permission I am distributing.
Send information and contact numbers to:

I urge you to resend directly to him
as well as any serial numbers of your firearms so
they can be returned to you.
I realize some of you did not send full firearms
but just upper receivers and or money.
Also be aware Col Rowe's email address will take
about a week or so to get fully up and running.
But he WILL get it. Some other issues regarding
civil and criminal actions are pending as to the
outcome of Col Rowe mediation.

Col. Rowe has taken up the responsibility to
correct this situation.

I will take the responsibility to see this to the
very end. So this matter is certainly NOT over. It
is just the beginning to see that justice is done.

I wish you all nothing but the best of luck in
this matter.

Thats some good news.

I just spoke with COl Rowe. He called me to confirm i had recieved his email. According to him ALL documentation he collects will be distributed to his and LEW's complete chain of command and JAG. He is highly reccomending if you have documentation regarding this to fax it to him ASAP. please remove any account numbers or personal information you do not want everyone to see from it. <ie..SSN's and such.>

If I had to guess I'd say that the former Iraqi Republican Guard will be sending Lew letters of sympathy VERY soon...

pretty much no. still in a holding pattern.

i spoke with the DA's office last week again. they have reccommended filing a complaint and swearing out a warrant for both of them. They say i have a pretty much straight forward case. I am waiting on the results from the army before going that route. the complaint will be filed here in bama as that is where our transaction took place. the amount still owed is well over the felony limit.

As much as i am pissed about this whole deal i don't enjoy getting LEO involved in anything.

I've been holding off on this to help protect J. but i am about out of all options at this point.

well since i am very sure she is still lurking i will respond.

lew on more than one occasion not only made promises he did not fulfill but has gone out of his way to avoid and outright lie to me about the status of not only my rifle but the refund. a refund he advised me in emial would be made by october of last year.

Any good lew may have done in the past is a moot point.

lew tippie today is a liar and a con man. any bad press he gets is more than deserved.

as for me being persistant.
