Beagles--Real simple-
Since Goatboy is playing this time.... All the members who want to play post... Goatboy will compile all the names, and draw them randomly into pairs... The pairings are then posted, and the members get in contact with thier partner via e-mail to exchange addresses. They send thier partner a gun related gift worth $20.00 or less... TOTALLY RANDOM!! Meaning no hinting... One time we did this on another site... I got a box of 8MM Mauser Ammo, and a copy of "Fast and fancy Revolver Shooting"--I guess my partner was a C&R guy... I sent him 3 AK 30 rounders The last one we did here on AR15, i wound up with 2 partners (Long story) I got 1 30 Rd Orlite, 1 20 Rd AK mag, and a PC FM Radiocard from my partner... I sent him a box of +P+ Law Enforcement Only Ranger 9MM ammo, and something else (I forget) My other partner sent me a new boresnake, and I sent him a new gun-book. It really is a fun thing if you like suprises. BUT, beware of sending out shitty gifts. Example; If the gift from my partner sucks, I will post a "You Suck you chincy Jew Cheap-o" forum on my website, dedicated to him, and link to it on every gun site out there...[:p] |

1) Empty Brass- Yeah, some dudes re-load, but that is a really shitty gift. It's like sending them used socks. 2) Earplugs- Yeah. They cost like what? A Buck? Whatever... 3) Post ban mags) WHO THE HELL WANTS POST-BAN MAGS!?!?!?!?! 4) Old left-over junk gun parts "Yeah....It's a pair of old revolver grips, but for fucking what?!?!?!?!" 5) Political Books- OK. Sure. I get the fact that the political nature of gun-ownership is paramount to us all...But this gift exchange is supposed to be F_U_N---Getting a book on "The theory of Western Democracy and it's associated Freedoms" with 1 chapter on gun-ownership is like when you used to get underwear for Christmas. B_O_R_I_N_G!!!!!!!! 6) Odd-Caliber Ammo--It's OK to send out random Ammo, like 9MM, even if the dude dosen't have a 9--He can always trade it, or shoot it out of a friends gun... But sending your poor partner a box of 7.65MM Velo-Dog is about the lamest thing you can do. "HERE PAL! HERE IS AN OLD MILK JUG FULL OF USED MOTOR-OIL FER YA!" 7) Gun Cleaning Supplies- They just aren't fun. Gun Cleaning shit reminds me of aluminum foil.. When I go to the store, I hate buying aluminum foil because i'd rather spend the $$$ on something I like: like Pigs Feet, or Kool-Aid....But I have to buy it. Cleaning suplies are like that. They aren't "FUN"- They're obligatory. "HEY PARTNER! HERE'S A JAR OF HOPPES, AND SOME PATCHES! [I]NOW GO HAVE FUN!!!![/I] So, there is an idea of totally shitty gifts to avoid sending (Me at least) Remember. It [B]IS NOT[/B] the thought that counts here...He who gives the coolest gift under $20.00 is the winner. |
