I'm headed to Vegas next month for a week with the wife.  We are going out there with her parents who own a time share.
What are some cool things to see and do while we are there.  Granted site seeing the casinos and things down the strip, i'm just curious to see what people on here have enjoyed doing while out there.  were are the little hidden jewels in vegas.. ie that one restaraunt that you can get awsome steaks at for cheap or a gun shop that gives you a AR50 just for stopping in.. lol

I'm not much of a people person and want to find other things to do besides casino bouncing.

Savage, do a search for grey certificates, usually go for about $250 or so.

Good for any course the first time you go to FS.

In fact, I have one I will sell you for that price.

The four day handgun is excellent BTW.

Last time I was there it was a $1 and Heineken was $1, late 80s

Suppose to be a lot more fun for the family, not just gambling.

Get the Unofficial Guide to Las Vegas by Bob Sehlinger.  He explains some of the games, how to get coupons, and how to make your odds better.

+1

IIRC it’s maybe a half hour or so away from Las Vegas.

I found it fascinating – and a welcome relief from the total phoniness of Las Vegas.

And talk about rough terrain!!
