OK, OK, I realize this isn't firearm related.  I'm interested in an Osprey boat I saw at a show, and am wondering about the manufacturer.  As I understand it, the founder of Osprey has retired and sold the company, located in WA.  What I am trying to find out is if the company is staying viable or if a "group of investors"   (ha ha)  is  going to let it die.  They don't seem to have a lot of dealerships, and I have trouble getting in touch with the local dealer.  I like the overall design and quality of the boat (30 LC)  but worry about warranty issues, etc.

Thanks,

AFOAF has one in NY, very nice boat.  Pretty wet ride though, not much flare in the bow. Nice to warm up in the pilothouse when winter Toggin'. Second station is nice to have when fishing the rips for striper. Pilothouse ceiling is too low for me, my head touches. SeaSport is another nice pilothouse boat an old coworker had. Whitewater Marine in NY is the biggest osprey dealer on the east coast. Good luck shopping.
