Is it annoying when people punctuate -------- like this.

What ------- does this --------- mean?

You know there are commas if you want a pause in your sentence. A period will seperate your thoughts. This ------ WTF does that mean.

even an elipse ... is normal is that what he means to use?

breaks to me that’s much harder to read in fact I often just
skip right over such posts and replies rather then subject
myself to the tortures of trying to decipher the authors
mind set and intended inflection then you have the people who
think that misspelling words is teh cool when really it just makes
them appear to be mindless minions of popular trends of course
there are others who just can't friggin spell for the last time
It's loose and lose like my pant fall off my ass because they are loose
and that causes me to lose my wallet or dose and does brake
and break undoubtedly you must be getting my intended point
by now but if your not I will type out some crap to make this totally
unreadable by all but the most patient.

Do the different lenghts of dashes represent different time frames? Would---a shorter lenght of dash----mean less time between words--? Would a longer set of dashes---------------indicate a longer pause-----in the sentence? Are there supposed to be spaces between the words and the dashes or a a connection?
