It does have a slower rate of fire... around 600 a minute. In the FA models, you can add a buffer that runs the RoF up to about 900-1000. I bet a semi bumped would hit close to that since it has a buffer in it from the factory. Also, I have never tried to bump a non-gas semi, it may be real difficult to hold it tight enough to cycle but loose enough to bump.
Be careful bumping it! Kind of short to keep your hand/arm/body out of the way. (I guess you would have a 16" barrel though, so you would have a little more room for error.) |

yeah, probably would have the 16" fugly bbl on it since i'm too cheap to pay for the tax stamp.

they have inexpensive ventilated barrel shrouds that dress that naked barrel right up.
i bought one, about $50 or so iirc. the $200 does help on the looks though.  edit to add: this is the shroud i speak of. it comes with the grip, and the grip can be positioned to the side 90 degrees.  $37 from this company: www.brasscatchers.com/shrouds.htm further editted to say that using the grip is optional, they include a set screw to hold it in place of the grip if that's how you like it. the uzi pictured is a model 45 bought like new in box for $1300, vector is considerably cheaper. i go for a suppressor at the end of the month. get one now while they still have receivers to build on. |

Yes class III are allowed in La.
You can rent a FA uzi at Barney's In lafayette, me and Zack3g shot it the other day. |

I know Class III is legal I just thought it was "war relic" machine guns. The UZI falls under that category?
