Idiots.  At least when Lordtrader posted porn without posting porn it was funny and novel (and not done exclusively to provoke moderators or push a line). This is stupid and childish. Just my opinion - worth exactly what you paid for it. |

I've only heard "tonk" used as the title of a popular card game. Not until it was banned from use did I learn that it is derogatory slang used for...honestly, I forgot who it's intended to insult. Supposedly "tonk" is the sound of flashlight hitting someone on the head. |

+1 I was 21 before I knew any racial slur but the N word and the word describing people of polish descent. Somebody told me not to worddescribingjewsthatrhymeswithkite them, and I had no idea what they were talking about. Those kind of terms just weren't used in my house. Still aren't. |

Here's how it was explained to me: "Honky-Tonk" Tonk is whats left when you take the Honky away. As in when all the white people (Honky's) move out of the south west it will be nothing but the Tonks.

It seems to me, that everytime the mods and staff enforce the CoC or a request from sr. Staff and the owners, people want to try and test the electric fence.
After enough people get electricuted they will either quite testing the fence, or move on to someone else's fence. People seem to be so worried about losing members. While I don't like the fact that Cav Arms is pulling away from the board, I can't say I'm gonna miss many of the others. It's one thing to question authority. It's something completely different to provoke authority then to cry foul. It is just childish and stupid. People are being banned and locked for causing problems and refusing to follow the rules. I guess I'm just growing tired of all the third grade antics that seem to be running rampant here as of late.

Ok fine, let's start hurling insults at politicians......and then let the banning begin when we unfairly stereotype them with some derogatory term. The poor are not our enemies, but law breakers are. Poor people need not usurp our laws and borders, and those that do get hit in the head with maglites....hence the word. They might be Mexican, Cuban, Canadian or whatever, but the term "tonk" is meant to ridicule people who have no respect for our laws.
