Watching it sure does have a lot in common with whats going on in Iraq.  Character played by David Jansen (liberal media type) bitching and moaning about treatment of a VC infiltrator sure is alot like the moaning and bitching with the media today about the "prisoner abuse".  

Also at the beginning of the movie, same character (reporter) saying we don't belong there.  Vietnam has no consitution.  Green beret informed him that we (the US) didn't have a constitution for the first 13 years of our existence.

You're right.  The scene just now was villagers slaughtered by VC for working with the US forces.

I still can figure out what's so great about Britain

That movie sucked IMO.
