If this thing came in a Quad Cab configuration you might be able to convince me to trade in my Dakota!

Does it come with a plow? (the kind you till the earth with)  Funny how most manufacturers put chevron tractor tires on concepts to make'em look tough.

If it had a good (powerful) engine --- I would be interested.

Naw, want you want is the JEEP RESCUE!

Rescue is my first choice, but that Gladiator is a close second.  I'm hoping for a diesel, or a Hybrid using a diesel power generator.

I'm in...

But for once I gotta agree with cyanide, it's gotta have a GOOD engine.

From the press book:

"Gladiator is a lifestyle pickup with all of the rugged functionality of the Jeep Wrangler. It is a super utility truck that eatures an open air canvas roof, removeable doors and folddown windshield..."

"...Other Jeep elements on today's Gladiator that blend style and function include the 7 slot grille, open air passenger compartment, a Command Trac 4x4 system, Front and Rear locking differentials, a front winch and full skid plates."

"Gladiator is powered by the modern and efficient 2.8 liter, 4 cylinder common-rail turbo diesen engine that provides 295lbft of torque and 163 HP. It delivers apower to all four wheels through a 6 speed manual transmission and a traditional part time transfer case"

edit: Typos are mine. The numbers I double checked though.

I'm not crazy about the canvas roof. The most I want is a sunroof/power moonroof. As long as it doesn't make the roofline brush my head.

That little door that swings out from the side - what is that, the crack dealer door???

JEEP, are you listening??? Add a hardtop and give me a quad cab configuration... Then sign me up!!!

Looks like a door so you can pull out gear (like rifles) from the back area.

I hope Jeep actually turns one these concept vehicles into a production jeep.

I'll buy one if it has good engine.

You are already picturing yourself doing that aren't you?

(I am dead serious... if they made the couple of changes I mentioned I'd buy one in the 2nd model year...! My wife wouldn't talk to me for 3 months afterward but DANG is that thing cool...)
