anybody know where to get replacement plasma/glass for a shattered 50" Sony plasma TV?

My friends dog whacked the $4000 display leaving it cracked in a hundred pieces. It just needs a new screen...prolly costs more than a new TV, thank god its not mine.

Like some parts warehouse or somehting of that nature for a new display?

As someone who sells plasmas, I have to ask.  Why would your friend put a plasma where animals/children could get to it?  Contact Sony.  99% chance the whole thing is going to have to be replaced.  You can't just buy a new screen for those.  CRAZY expensive.  Best of luck to your bud.

Plasma displays are unrepariable. The entire display will have to be replaced. A plasma is one instance where a good warranty is a good idea because if the display dies you have to replace it which costs as much as a new TV. Unless your strapped for space a plasma display is not a wiose choice. Poor performance at a very high cost.
