Went to the range on Sunday with my girlfriend Lindsey, shes a natural, shooting the bolt-action 22 @ 25 yards.

It was a fun time, she had fun, and wants to go during this week sometime.  :D  :D  :D  :D

What kind of AK is that? It looks purdy. And how did you find a place to shoot with snow on the ground?

You get an attaboy for takin' the girl to shoot.

One demerit for resting the barrel on the rifle rest while shooting.

Erie, PA.. still plenty of it on the ground.

And my AK is a SAR-1, Kvar Nato OD Green Stock Set.

The 22 is an old remington.

I feel sorry for you having to shoot in that snow.  I shot my first service gun match yesterday.  I had on jeans, and tee shirt, and a glock -golf shirt.  I was breaking a sweat half way thru the match.

On saturday, I was watching a first time female shoot her girlfriends Beretta Storm.  It was funny whatching her lean back - but she was having a blast.

Keep having fun, be safe

Later,

Badredfish

Cool!  BTW, she might get better groups if she would place the stock on the rest instead of the barrel.

Me and my wife shot my new DSA SA58 in the snow last weekend too. Seems like the snow tries to get  into everything, dropped a few mags in it, have to clean the snow of the binos each time I use them. Still its a lot of fun though...
