One hopes NSWG 1 has some "MILF Hunter" patches on order.

That looks like an M1A SOCOM with a long eye relief scope in the 9th pic down.  They must have let him use a privately purchased rifle?

Very common. It is just a bullet trap for a safe place to point your muzzle while clearing your weapon.

Never seen anything similar?

Kinda dumb but you have to pander to the lowest common denominator ya know. Proper weapon handling negates the need for one, needles to say.

I think you find these being used by countries where civilians don't have exposure to privatley owned firearms.

You can disagree with his technique, but HE'S THERE, doing the deed - thus he doesnt qualify as a shmuck.

Seen a dumbass Captain pump two rounds out of a Berreta into a clearing barrel outside the embassy building in Mogadishu.  Thought it was empty, pulled the trigger "blam".  Popped the mag out, pulled the trigger again "blam".  What a 'tard.  Proving once again, clearing barrels are neccessary.
