I would imagine not.  BUT, I may have to move there if I get this job there.  So, I was wondering if anyone had any insight on this topic.

I'd rather not live there if owning a gun is going to make me a heretic...

Any reliable info would be much appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Well you imagined right Maryland is a very unfriendly to gun owners.

VA is good if that is a option

Go VA, we are a CCW friendly state.

Almost any site within Maryland is within commuting distance of PA, VA, WV or DE.
Its not gun-friendly, 7 day wait to buy a pistol or assault rifle, 1 pistol or assault rifle per month, <=20rd mags can be purchased in state but you need to road-trip out of state to buy 30ders (they can still be possessed, you just cant buy them in the state), and CCW is fricken impossible to get unless you're a cop.

"Maryland" and "Gun Friendly" are not words that go together. Sort of like 'magnesium flare' and
'gasoline.'

If at all possible, live in VA, work in MD. Or if close to the Mason-Dixon, live in PA. (They're not
bad, as long as you don't live in Philly.)

Other than some anomalies VA is fairly gun friendly.

Shall issue CCW
Open carry allowed

Is Maryland a gun friendly state?   Seriously though, come down to VA and commute up.   Maryland blows.

Think Kalifornistan, only not that bad yet.  I'd advise living in VA.  Depending where your job is, it might be worth the commute.  Beware the traffic.

The guberment people though that getto sights were real for the glock.    lol  They ar ignorant, arogant and unfriendly to guns as most socalist utopias are.  Hawaii, california, most of the north east are good examples of socialist utopias gone sour.

It is one of the most gun unfriendly states.  In some ways it is worse than California and Massachussetts.  Don't move here.  For me the worst part is that you really cannot buy new handguns here--they have all been banned because of a "smart-gun" law and a requirement for a fired shell casing.  This means for example no Springfield XDs.  Also concealed carry is impossible to get and the state is high-crime, with the highest rate of armed robbery the past 10 years running.  Also incredibly high rates of car theft and car-jacking.

Maryland is shitty, I hate that state.  I think Virginia should annex it, deport all the people to Massachussetts and make it a giant shooting range.

Don't you dare! We are exporting all our MAssholes to NH and ME. When they're gone, we'll be able to live freely again.....(yeah, right)

MD's gun laws make Massachusetts's look like a gunowners' ideal.
