I know it is goofy to use the term "tactical" but I'm looking for a good cellphone holder that is tough and can hold up to alot of hard use and one that offers good protection for my phone.

and the best part is you already have some, they're known as "pockets"

yes, it is quite amazing that the ever utilitarian "pocket" can carry keys, loose change, and other assorted junk, and they are quite capable of carrying a newfangled "cell phone" and they do it quite well.

My dad is a construction contractor and he uses BucketBoss brand exclusively for anything nylon.

I can't find it now but I bought a contractor's grade case off Ebay for my cell phone. it's very sturdy all metal and ballistic nylon
