I'd have far more compassion for an animal.

No problem at all for either. I have been told that I lack empathy. I have never had a problem with killing someone who had it coming. Granted, my previous experience was in combat, but I doubt much has changed.

I think that this is probably due to my first step-father. At a time when most kids were fine-tuning their senses of right and wrong, he was seriously fucking with my head. I hated him so much, and made such detailed plans to destroy him that it sems to have caused me to look at death and killing in a different way than most people. I am certainly not some kind of homicidal maniac, but I also have no moral issues with killing someone who deserves it.

Anyone who is, without a doubt, evil (such as bin Laden), I would not hesitate to kill. If it were someone I believed to be a murderer but didn't know for sure, I would do my best to apprehend him if reasonably possible and have him arrested. If not reasonably possible... *shrug* Such is life. *ka-CHAK*

Depends on the circumstances of the killing and if he had confessed and showed no remorse, the way Osama has.

I don't either, but when twelve people say he is guilty and that he should die then that is good enough for me. If I was the one who was tasked with the execution. I would not have to answer for it, the state would.

All bravado aside, I'd have to say "Yes" and "Yes." I can't swear that I wouldn't feel some hesitation in either circumstance (though I doubt I would). I can say that I have learned over the years that a big part of being a man is doing what needs to be done, and I know I can do that.

Well im Italian so I would shoot out the knee caps and elbows and let him suffer for a week, then come back and start using a blade with a nick and cut here and there for another week. Then just keep him suffering. I would even go as far as to stick an IV in the jerk to keep him fed so I could torture him even longer.

Yes. I have killed game before. I have wondered, while the crosshairs were on target, if I wanted to kill. Then the thought passed, I took the shot, and was thrilled to see the animal fall. Not to sound sick or anything, but to kill is something thrilling, in an ancient, primitive way. At least with people I would have good reason to do it. Certainly a murderer or terrorist is more deserving of my bullet than a game animal whose flesh I want to eat.
