I have fired a lot of different assault while i was in the Army and I really liked my issue m4 simply because it was very accurate and i had a lot of cool shit attached to it. However the most beautiful well built rifle I have ever had the privledge of firing was the Sig 550 god that rifle was sweet. I am wondering what in everyones opinoin is there favorite assault weapon I am would really like to here from people who have operated a lot of different combat weapons to give me there opinion on the best all around assault weapon besides the M16-M4 series

I want to here about other assault weapons besides the same old discussions about why the M16 series is the best. Most people will agree the that the M-16 is the worlds best assualt rifle I want hear about other assault weapons tell me why you like your choice and what you like about it

There aint any one weapon just as there aint any one battle field. The battles going on in Iraq right now don't in the least resemble the North Africa battles of WWII or even the early battles in Iraq on open terrain. Panama and Somalia differ a bit too. That's why the US serviceman has a variety of weapons at his/her disposal.
