So here I am, boozing it up tonight. I rum outta run! So no rum and cokes. I grab the next bottle, and it's Monarch Brandy! (that shit cost $8 a bottle!)
Mix it w/Coke, and sure enough! it smells like I'm cleaning gunz in the kitchen.
Your not supposed to dronk hoppes though.

I've actually tasted Hoppes #9.

I can guarantee you, brandy and coke does NOT taste like Hoppes #9

And yes, I've also had brandy and coke, and really...nothing like Hoppes #9

Not on purpose!

I was cleaning something (obviously; not like it's out all the time), and I also had a pretty large cup of beer next to the big bottle of Hoppes.

Well, one thing led to another, I got distracted, grabbed the wrong bottle to take a swig of beer from...

The guy on the poison control hotline was laughing by the time I had finished the story. He told me I should be ok...and thankfully he left off the mental "you dumbass" from that statement
