Sorry if this is a dupe, I stumbled across this page and thought I'd share it on ARFCOM.

If the RealVideo link doesn't work, check that your Real Player is set to play Real Time Streaming Protocol under Tools->Preferences->Media Types->Advanced

I like the Barrett M468 rtsp://rm001.infi.net:80/~atpco/realserver/04bw_barrett.rm]video[/url], that silencer is pretty damn quiet.

Try again: LINK nevermind, I'm bumping up against forum software limitations

I can't believe that it isn't possible to link to anything other than an HTTP source with this forum software. It automatically appends 'http://' That is very lame. Anyone have a fix for this?

I'm finally getting to the XM8 Videos, damn! Sweet. I'm glad they posted them at 400kB

ETA: 830 round belt through M60 until barrel blows out. This is a good page. I think I stumbled across a nice site.

What are those old archaic pistols they are using? 1911's?

That XM8 is very impressive. These videos are much better than the "Mail Call" vid I posted awhile back.

What do you guys think of the XM8?

XM8- WOW - Speed and flexibilty in use. That guy makes it look so easy - hard not to be impressed.

Very similar to the current issue for everythying else 5.56 etc. I did really like the full ambi aspect and the fast and easy FULL brakdown etc.

The all in one sight is neat and all - But can you also add more special optics etc? And will thsoe poly magazines hold up?

cool vids though - thanks for the post!

I'm looking for the 2003 videos based on this tidbit from the 2004 analysis:

Last year, some readers will recall, FNH introduced AFJ evaluators to a 76mm HIWS, which made for some interesting video of evaluators losing contact with the ground as they launched 2.2-pound payloads from the 3.3-pound 76mm round. This year's half-size cousin of the 76 HIWS looked far less formidable, but still left shooters knowing they had fired something out of the ordinary.

Dust and Water video...I challenge an M16 to match that.

Guy here blew up his Bushy Ar in 4 shots. The XM8 ran a 30rd mag on full auto without a hiccup!

I like how the dust blows all over the guys with the $6000 DSLR cameras.
