Many years ago when I was young and foolish, I was stopped late at night. I hadn't been drinking I was tired after a 400+ mile drive. I had to perform the road side sobriety test (predate the breadthalizer). When the deputy asked "Can you recite the alphabet backwards for me" I answered "I can't even do it when I'm awake, can you do it?" He wasn't amused.
 He did let me go with a warning an followed me the rest of the way home....4 more miles.

I swear to God I can recite the alphabet backwards at the same speed as most people can forward. I learned it when I was younger because I was naive and thought it might help me out if I ever got stopped while under the influence.
 What a bonehead I was.
