Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Which to buy first:HK or STG-58 kit?

I have a pre ban FMP G3S,no problems to report what so ever.I really want a STG-58 but I only have enough $ to buy one parts kit.I was thinking of buying a HK parts kit just for spare parts.Which one should I buy first?I know after next month no more parts kits will be imported and I fear buy time I can hide enough $ from the wife the kits will be expensive.So, gents which one should I get first?

The FAL is a better gun and receivers are plenty - but so are kits. If you REALLY have your heart set on both I'd get the HK first as there's not as many to be had.

The FAL really is the better gun.

Get the HK first.  The FAL kits seems to be easier to get at the moment.
