Just a heads up for those that are looking foreword to it's premier on the Sci-fi channel in January.  It's excellent!  I just got the first 6 episodes.  I've only watched the first, but so far it's as good as the mini-series.

If you have bit torrent installed, hit up www.suprnova.org (notice, no E. It's important.) Click on television, then battlestar galactica.

The episodes are available at www.sharetv.net using eMule.  Apparently they started showing them on SkyOne(UK channel) a while back.

My guess is that both the Sci-fi channel and SkyOne were given the rights to show it and Sci-fi chose to wait until January for some reason while SkyOne decided to go ahead and air them.

Er, hate to disagree, but...  SkyOne in the UK has an exclusive on Battlestar Galactica until 2005, when SciFi begins showing the eps.  Perhaps you're thinking of the mini-series that aired last year?

I went to suprnova, and you need the bittorent client.
Select tv, and then there are hot links
At the bottom of the page, there is a list. Click on the one you want to download, and it should connect and put it on your machine.
Becareful which one you pick. I started with one and it was too choppy to watch, so I had to download it again in vcd format.

You dont download the episodes from that site because the files arent stored on thier site.

You need to download and install eDonkey, www.edonkey2000.com.

When you have it installed and running, then when you click on the links on that website it will update the program and the program will start trying to download the file from the other eDonkey users.

I recall the "mini series" that played here in the US on Sci-Fi a while back was advertised as a prelim to a new show.  I believe it was the first two one hour episodes combined into one mini.  I was pissed for a few weeks when no more episodes played.  Not happy with both the cool "boys" made into girls... but I'll still give it a try if it's not running against anything good on History Channel.

Good God!  I started downloading the first episode following the pilot at around 20:00 CST.  The damned thing is only at 1.8% of 349MB!  Is this normal for an ADSL connection?

Do I need to D/L them individually or is there a packaged one on the site?

I saw the 2 part pilot last year and from what I see on ShareTV.net descriptions, there are two copies.  Both are titled with a "2003" in the name.  I'm guessing those that have 101, 102, etc. in the title are the regular season in airing order.

I'm new to this particular file sharing flavor so your guess is as good as mine.  However, both parts are have an eDonkey link to an .AVI file.

I'm doing what Taxman said:  set 'em running and crash.  I'll see where they are in the morning.
