Looks like Blair's socialist agenda has rid the country of crime... My guess is that more gun control is needed. What a joke these people are!

How unfortunate that bad laws and legislation result in the loss of human life.  I guess the anti's won't be using England as an example of a gun free Utopia anymore.

although the increase in crime DESPITE a total ban on guns is goods news for our side,  (translated:  guns cannot be the cause of crime.  not, that we're happy crime is increasing) i'm not sure that not having the ban would make any difference here.

first, off, they're criminals, gang members, and laws don't matter much to them, as we've seen.

second, these are sniper-like in that they target a single individual and use the element of surprise.  my guess is the guys who got shot, even the unlucky bloke in the picture, didn't even know what hit them.  these are professional killings, killings which don't give the victim much chance of returning fire.

he's not dead - he's just moved on to the great socialist, gun-free utopia in the sky.

ARLady, potato, potato. Your right, even if the English ban was 100% effective these guys would still be killing each other. Only they'd be using sharpened sticks, rocks, whatever. Hell, most Martial Arts techniques are based on being effective in the aftermath of weapons bans. Hands, feet, farm implements, etc become the fighting tools.

7, just because something is ilegal doesn't mean it's not around. Drugs are illegal in the US but you can still find them at every corner right?

Just like in Japanese schools.
