Ok, I don't know how much of a special offer this is, but here goes...
Today I was browsing through the bargain book bin at B&N and found several copies of "Twentieth Century Small Arms" by Chris McNab $10 each. Its a small book (about 5"x6.5") but has about 300pages of military firearms. Each page has a nice artists drawing of the firearm (many 'cut-away' style drawings) with a short blurb about the gun and some basic info (caliber, bbl length, weight, country of origin, rate of fire, etc.). A couple of the drawings are a bit cheezy (the MP5 has a ridiculous looking scope on it), and there are some obvious gaps (missing models and variations) but its a decent little reference book for the money (Hey, whaddaya expect in 300 pages for $10?). Organized by type; handguns, submachineguns, machineguns, bolt action rifles, automatic rifles, shotguns, and greande launchers. I got one for myself and I think there's three left, if anyone wants them I'll go back and pick them up for the cost of the book and shipping to you. I'm not making any money here, just thought someone else might be interested.
