Get real. If you can afford the damned gun you can afford the ammo.

Transferable miniguns occassionally show up for the bargain-basement price of $100,000 to $120,000. You could get one of those and a shitload of linked ammo, and put a lot more hurt on your target! [heavy]

Don't have to be snotty Rik, it's not the cost of the ammo - it's the _stamp_.  Getting CLEO signoff and ATF approval for every round (Except chalk/flares) would be a PITA.  Though I guess if you had $350k to waste on a gun you could afford to have your lawyer do the form-filing :D

Shazbot: If you pay the $3000/yr tax and become a Destructive Devices Manufacturer, you dont have to pay the $200 tax per round, you can make them tax free (and possibly buy them from another DD manufacturer tax free, but I'm not sure)

I have one question...
besides destroying old buildings and wrecked cars...what the heck would you do with such a thing???????

Of course, blowing up a car or two with on would be a whole lot of fun!!!
