2:40am CST - Dan Rather is in complete and utter denial.
Ed Bradley is trying to tell him that the numbers in Ohio just can't work for Kerry, but he's like a rabid dog... just said something about "just because a chicken has wings doesn't mean it can fly." I think his head is about to explode, SCANNERS-style.

I finally turned away from "fair and balanced" coverage (3:30am) to see the reactions of Rather, Brokaw and the lot. It is HILARIOUS watching them scramble to make excuses !!! I love it !! |
