I had heard guns are forbidden at polling locations but could not confirm or disprove it so I erred on the side of caution. last thing I need is my right to own handguns and possibly lang guns taken away

Heavens No!  Carrying a firearm in a polling place is illegal!  But since I had a Glock, carrying a large black Tupperware ammuntion holding device should be OK!

Who gives a shit about "no packing" law if they don't pat you down at the door?

Cougar 8045F for me today. I made sure I was carrying in order to exercise two rights at once.

I packed my blade, but carring concealed in MI is against the law in schools.  No metal detectors at the school where I voted a straight ticket.

edited to add "in schools"

Yep!

I packed a fully loaded S&W Sigma, stoked with 16 rounds of 165gr Gloden Sabers.

Before I get burned by anyone for CCW'ing a Sigma, my gun has over 10,000 rounds through it without a bit of problem. The gun has proven it's self to me, and that;s all that matters.

I disagree with the Democratic party on almost every issue but am a strong supporter of "don't ask, don't tell". Well, except for the tell part. Kahr MK9 & spare mag in a laptop bag. Then drove directly to work, where I'm also "not allowed" to carry.

Depending on local events (not exactly a hotbed of anarchist activity here), tomorrow might warrant "not carrying" the Glock 21 and four spares. Just to humor my paranoia.
