Like it says. Yes or no?
Wouldnt be my first choice, but if he was the better of the 2 I would.
No
and hopefully he wouldn't even make it out of the primaries. |
Maybe.
Depends what my choices are. Definitely not my first choice. |
Will never happen...
And if it did, what choise would we have? |
What if it was a choice between McCain and Guliani? wrap your brain around that one...
+1
I cant even say that there is a difference enough to make the "Giant Douche/Turd Sandwich" comparison. |

Depends on how bad the other candidate was, however, probably not.
Not if there was another choice. But, If it was a choice between Rudy or Mrs. BJ Clinton....
Under no circumstance.
The things that pass for conservative in NY and CA just dont fly here. Id vote for a third party. |

Rudy Giuliani on Gun Control All gun owners should pass written test I do not think the government should cut off the right to bear arms. My position for many years has been that just as a motorist must have a license, a gun owner should be required to have one as well. Anyone wanting to own a gun should have to pass a written exam that shows that they know how to use a gun, that they're intelligent enough and responsible enough to handle a gun. Should both handgun and rifle owners be licensed...we're talking about all dangerous weapons. Source: Boston Globe, p. A4 Mar 21, 2000 |

I think that would be one of the only cases where I would vote "lesser of two evils" anything to keep hitlery out of office. |
Exactly |
I have no problem with that, even though ist STUPID! But hey it seems America is STUPID anymore... Load a gun, pull its triger... If said "gun" is pointed at something living, it will most likely die... ABC's and 123's, If America Decides its necessary for me and mine to prove that we are Competent in knowing that fine. But we wouldnt have to worrie about it if ameriKa would wake the fuck up and grow a brian. |
I don't applaud Guliani's stance on guns, BUT he does at least appear to have some common sense and moral ground to stand on.
Nothing much really. Big name though would pull alot of non party votes, like Arnold did in CA. |
Initially treated the NYPD like shit...until 09/11
I vote BUSH |
Sorry bro, I couldn't resist. It was the "grow a brian" that did me in. -The Editor This message has been edited byThe Editor as a public service to those who drink and post. |

Giuliani is a RINO, though I suppose that's as close as one can get to a Republican in a big city. Nevertheless, he is no friend of ours. I'm originally from NYC and know what I'm talking about. Yes, he did well in the 9/11 aftermath, but so would Hitler.
As far as him over Hillary, if the American people are still such large babies they will go for that, or even consider noiminating Hillary, vote for Hillary and "Cry havoc, and release the dogs of War." |
Prefer him? No.
Vote for him? That depends on the other choices. None exist in a vaccuum. |
Not in a primary, but if he was the candidate against a dem. then I would.
Kiss your right to bear arms goodbye. He's for "common sense" gun control.
Hell No, one look at New York States gun laws tells me everything I need to know.
No.
Outside of 9/11, Giuliani was more or less despised as a mayor for his JBT stance on so many things. While it was effective in the area of crime control, it also led to the Louima and Diallo incidents. Furthermore, he made sure to close every good strip bar and turned Times Square into a Disneyland when it should have remained a criminal cesspool. And last, he has the moral fiber of Clinton since he brought his adulterous girlfriend into Gracie Mansion. |
After this election - I'm only voting for pro-gun presidential candidates, so, No.

This statement clearly illustrates Giuliani's lack of understanding of that which is a priveledge and that which is a right. Not only does he not understand that firearms ownership is a right guaranteed by the Bill Of Rights, but that it pre-dates the Constitution itself. The wording is clear. It is not written that a right to keep and bear arms shall be established, but that THE RIGHT to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. It was already accepted as an established right by the founding fathers. Giuliani, like all other "moderate", Country Club Republicans (RINO's), cannot get elected as President. It's a simple matter of looking at the numbers. The conservative base of the Republican Party will not support any so called "moderate" Republican for the party's nomination as Republican Party candidate for president. Even if that candidate manages to win the nomination despite the lack of support from the conservatives, he cannot win the general election without the conservatives support...their complete support. A Republican candidate must have the complete support of his party and a substantial percentage of the independent vote and maybe some Reagan Democrat vote to have a chance of winning the general election. Take the conservatives out of the equation, and he can't win. It's that simple. The conservatives stay home on election day, the "moderate" Republican loses the election. It happened with Ford, it happened with Dole, and it would happen with Giuliani. Now a good place for Giuliani would be as an opponent for Hillary Clinton in the '06 Senate race. We can forget about New York electing a conservative Senator, so the best we could hope for would be a Giuliani. Not only would a Giuliani win remove Clinton from the Senate, but it would also torpedo her run for the White House in '08. She'd have to run as a one term loser Senator. That would destroy her credability as a candidate and give her opposition all the material they need to attack her. She might not even get her party's nomination after her own fellow Democrats are through using that issue against her. At any rate, she'd be in for a real mud wrestling contest, and the bitch in her (I know, she's ALL bitch) would come out for all to see. Even if she won, she wouldn't look good doing it. We can only hope it happens... |
