I am supporting Bush as a Lawyer for Bush in the ghetto (carded poll challenger). I am on a site team. We go to reported problem polls and try to either shut down the problem or gather enough info for a quick injunction filing by the lit teams.

We have Cops for Bush to drive us and secure the egress routes. I am going to the blackest churches (polling places in the deepest ghettos) there are, places where only the revs and the gangs rule.

We are going in lawyer suits.

I carry a taurus .38 in a pocket holster every day.

My choices are:

1) Pocket .38 in one pocket, one or two speed strip reloads in the other.

2) A Colt Double Eagle Officers (Officers size 1911 DA version 8+1 .45) in an MSP paddle and one 8 round reload.

Please note the pocket .38 is 100% concealed, the DE is hard to conceal even under a suit coat. There is a real danger of the 45 being spotted, almost no chance anyone will see the .38. In fact I can, and have, put my hand on the .38 grip with no one the wiser.

If the gun is spotted there is a real chance of a counter injunction and press release for 'armed white supression of black vote'.

What is your advice?

Go with the 38.  Can you also bring the Colt and leave it in the (LOCKED) vehicle for a backup?

Whenever I saw someone from that neighborhood getting shot on COPS, they always wet themselves, screamed, cried, no matter what they were shot with, or where...

Go with the .38

I thought you were not allowed to carry in polling sites, aren't most polling stations public schools??

You're a lawyer. You wear a suit.

Get a better holster for the .45. It'll conceal.

I voted for "Go bare, take one for the team". You are a lawyer, right?

Leave it in the car, and hope you can make a run for it.

Did you see the HUGE black guy shot by his brother with the .25? He was shot in the chest and it penetrated to his back where you could see the bullet lump just under his skin.

He kept refusing to sit down and just walked around yelling incoherently, "IT HURT, IT HURT"  They finally convinced him to step into the ambulance.
