The Washington Redskins have proved to be a time-tested election predictor. In the previous 15 elections, if the Washington Redskins have lost their last home game prior to the election, the incumbent party has lost the White House. When they have won, the incumbent has stayed in power.

This election year, that deciding game takes place on Sunday, October 31 ... vs. Green Bay.

I've heard this. Now that it's popular knowledge what the results of this game means, do you suppose that a Washington loss would motivate already motivated Republicans to come out in full force and vote?

Brett Favre is a real American Hero and that is why he is not throwing the game! A Real American doesnt believe in superstition and relies on reason.  A Real American always tries to win and never 'throws' a game.
