Greetings:

I recently located a rifle in a different state. I have never purchase a rifle from anothee state. I talked to my local FFL license dealer. For a nominal fee he will do make the transfer.

The rifle/package is ~ $2800.00, should I use an escrow account (~$100 fee)?

I could have the seller (not a dealer) ship the rifle to my dealer, however I could ask for a dealer-dealer transfer (his dealer to my dealer) is the later method more secure?

If the rifle doesn't meet the discussed condition, do I have any legal recourse? or is it buyer beware; you are SOL (sorry out of luck)

Thank you,

ACK
