I'm afraid this topic will drop off the Board before it is read by many members here. I put it together today, because I wanted to know more about the man who has been funding international gun control and MoveOn.org. Here is waht I've learned. Please feel free to circulate the topic to others.
 George Soros, "The Man who Broke the Bank of England." Why don't we know anything about George Soros? He believes in a global society without borders. He is a socialist billionaire who is personally bankrolling organizations such as "MoveOn.org," not to mention IANA, which is proposing an international guncontrol law. Soros helped finance "The Million Mom March," so that makes it clear what he wants to do with American gun laws. He has quite a history, having been named in 1992 as "The Man Who Broke The Bank of England" when his currency speculations forced Britain to remove the Pound from the European Exchange Rate. He netted $1.1 Billion from it. Soros did the same thing in 1997 with the Malaysian Currency. His dealings are bad news in other countires, as well. France fined him $2 million for insider trading when he bought a bank there. Soros has also been charged with money laundering. He is an odd man. Soros, himself born a Jew, blames the recent rash of antisemitism in the West on policies of Israel, the United States, and the financial success of Jews, such as himself! He has been called a "self-loathing Jew." Although this man intends to influence your life, and the lives of generations to come, you hear nothing about him from the National media. Maybe, it's time to let fellow citizens know who he is? |

Soros is a really unhappy man. What he really cares about is changing the world through his ideas, which are not very coherent or groundbreaking or respected by leading intellectuals. So it drives him absolutely insane that a guy he must regard as a knuckle-dragging anti-intellectual moron, George Bush, is reshaping the world. He's a Captain Ahab figure, Bush is his white whale.
Politicians and MoveOn.org are all too happy to take money from him, but that's all they're interested in. They have no interest in his ideas, the one thing that is most important to him. All this makes him our enemy, and while it is too late to legislate his financial influence out of American politics this year, next time will likely be different
I fully expect that he sees this 527 thing is his way of buying the office I don't like the looks of it one bit. |

Soros has said he visualizes himself as a king or emperor, his own words. Dictator probably is more like it. Had he not got out to England, he probably would have been strung up on Szabadsag Ter like so many other communists and assorted grabbers. Too bad it didn't happen sooner. He will be a danger for the forseeable future. Money buys media; the sheep follow the jumping, babbling characters on the screen.

I really think you hit the nail on the head here. I look at Soros and see someone who is drowning his fears and anxieties into politics, instaed of alcohol or drugs. He gets high on power - and is a scary thought. All he is, is a scared man running from his problems thinking by inflicting his will over people and in a power grab he will be happy. What a depressing person. |

The NRA's magazine First Freedom has had some...uhh...enlightening articles about Soros. I've done quite a bit of searching on my own.
The man truly wants to force his beliefs - esp. the anit-gun ones - on the U.S. The idiot is dangerous. And rich. |

Newsmax has a very detailed account of the man and his dealings. I don't know if I agree with all they said, but enough of it has been proven to be true that Soros is a man that needs to be watched closely.

He lost $2billion on speculation in Russia in 98. I believe it was related to the LTCM scandal that rocked Wall Street where a Nobel Prize winning economist had a fatal weakness in his hedge fund that was leveraged to the gills.

What I find truly disturbing is that the democratic party, in their insatiable quest for the whitehouse and power, would make a deal with the devil himself to get it. That is what makes them so evil. As obi wan said..."who is the fool?, The fool himself or the fools that follow?" Also, it's been reported that Soros knew what he was doing when he funded and pushed the Mccain-fiengold campaign finance reform bill. He knew that he would be primed to get his message across with minimal competition through sources like moveon. Shrewd prick, and the dems are sucking the devils hammer!

George Soros is a very very bad man - I havent read up on him as much as other people - but his name keeps resurfacing - for the record - he stated he EXPECTS Kerry to lose the election - make sure that Kerry loses though - VOTE BUSH ON NOVEMBER 2nd!!!

His type is well described in the book RADICAL SON by David Horowitz. The NEW LEFT look at the rest us as the unwashed masses. They have set themselves up our saivours because they believe that we cannot think or function for ourselves. They truly believe they are better because they "care" more than others. Soros is a Jew who loathes Jewery. Great Britain gave him sanctuary, and he repaid them by nearly ruiining their currency. He moved to the United States, and he plans to subvert our most prized treasure - The Bill of Rights - to his international organizations. The man could be an arch villain in a James Bond film, seeking world domination.
We need to awaken our fellow citizens about Soros... before it is too late. |

The reason we don't know much about George Soros is that he has the money to have others do his bidding. He has the influence to separate himself from the front lines while still calling the shots. He is the ultimate chicken shit liberal. He won't show his face, rather he shows us his minions. He must be watched carefully.
I've even read an editorial about how George Soros is something like the ultimate capitalist who should be revered by Republicans. While he has made a fortune and brought himself up from nothing, I can't be sure his fortunes are honestly earned, but what makes me want to puke is that using his fortunes he continually assaults our freedom. Money does not give anyone the right to change our rules. If you don't like the rules where you are from, go back there and change them, don't come here a ruin our nation. What a piece of shit. |

Just think about it for a moment.
This guy is bigger than the NRA by himself! If every member of the NRA donated $1,000, it still would be half the size of his pockets. He is actively pushing gun control, as well as the abrogation of our Constitution to international treaty. That's something to worry about. |

Why in HELL didn't the Republicans expose him and his support for the Dems? As usual, I fear the Dems have done a much better job of selling their propaganda. Soros should have been in EVERY Republican ad. Oh well. |
