I like to enjoy an occasional smoke in the evening, especially after a long day at work. My favorite everyday cigar is the Flor De Copan Gordito. It is a spicy, flavorful smoke, and complements a Woodford Reserve on the rocks very well.

J&R is your friend.
They have a store right up the road from me You know, I should actually season the humidor I bought from them a couple months ago and start using it... |
+1 on the Portofino, the J&R knockoffs of Portofinos are pretty good too.
Even though they are on the high side I like anything from CAO |

Depends on your definition of affordable... I used to smoke a cigar a day... at that price, not affordable. At one a month, eminently affordable.

Garcia y Vega Crystal 200 or Garcis y Vega Maduro. And you get a free test tube with each one!

For the taste and $, Oynx, and I have tried many. When I travel Mexico Cubans are legal so I smoke them when there. I still enjoy Oynx, just as good IMHO. Great cigar for $5.

Long Ashes to YOU, GunLvr!!! Yes, I Always listend to the Cigar General when I was running with XM But, then, I got busted by the pleasure police (not really, but it sounds cool!) |
I love cigars. I have coolers full of them aging, since I can't control my obsession. Kinda like my gun collection, it's completely out of control! I smoke one or two a day.
Lots of good suggestions here. I smoke mostly Fuentes, Padrons, Camachos, and Habanos. Email me your address and I'll send you a sampler. my handle at hotmail dot com. |

Given my low finances, Don Mateo maduro(Honduran) suits me. $35 for bundle of 25 8x52.

I'm a fuentes fan myself. But in the affordable range, some macanudos that my uncle gave me that say vintage 1993 on them!

Consuegra from JR Cigars. They are Punch Factory Seconds.
I am a notoriously cheap bastard, but I cherish a good smoke. These cigars are around $1.10 each shipped (bundles of 25) and they aren't Philly Blunts.... |
You in NC then? JR rocks, I bought some Montecristos, Macanduo, Artur Fuente there a year or so ago. |
SMOKED MANY CIGS, CHEAP AND EXPENSEIVE. I ALWAYS COME BACK TO "AL CAPONE" RUM CIGARELLOS. I ENJOY SOMETHING NEW NOW AND AGAIN BUT THESE CAN'T BE BEAT.

Or A&C Grenadier. |

Fuente 858 or La Flor Dominica both $3-4 range and good smoke!
What makes the Consuegras factory seconds? Basically, how different are they from the factory firsts?
Usually they are trimmed to short or they have a chip in the wrapper(very small). They smoke just as good as the firsts IMHO. D. |
Nice! Thanks for the info. Time to spend some money to shorten my life span. |
check your IM's. |

Davidoff No. 2
So far it's my favorite cigar, very smooth & creamy. I've been hit or miss on some of their other cigars though. I've seen them for sale anywhere form $10 to $15. Boxes come in 25s. |
