You know what is so striking about Bin Laden's little video? How much he is sounding like the American Left. He's not talking about the Caliphate and Andalusia, not bitching about how American troops are occupying the Land of the Two Holy Mosques. He's talking about how Bush read a book about goats to children while his men attacked Manhattan and how that helped him, how Bush wasn't vigilant enough to stop Bin Laden's attack, and that if we act more like Sweden, then al-Qaeda will stop attacking us.
If we're more like Sweden. Holy Christ, where have you heard that before? The Valhalla utopia that liberals hold up as an exemplar standard for American society to live up to is.........Sweden. How everything is so fucking great in Sweden. Now here is Bin Laden saying how we should be like Sweden........or DIE. Unreal. The Islamofascists are using Leftist dogma. |
