The lady reminded me how important it was to vote and asked if they could come pick up my ballot. WTF? I'm a registered Republican and the Democrats are offering to come to my house to pick up my ballot?

Are any other Republicans getting offers like this from Democrats?

Hell, I would have told her ,"Yes! Come on over! "
And taken up as much of her time and energy as possible looking for my ballot as I could have gotten away with.

"I could have sworn it was in my dresser........."

They mistakenly believe that republicans are as dumb as democrats.

Take up as much of their time and resources as you can.

That's what I am wondering. What's to stop them from trashing the ballots they pick up?

Tell them you'd like a ride to the polls.

Ask them to come pick you up.

Be waiting out in your yard, right next to your Bush-Cheney lawn sign.......

On the way to the polls, discuss politics with them, and when you get there, suddenly remember that you voted absentee........

Yes it's completely legal. Just not very smart. I wouldn't be surprised if she "lost" it on the way to the office.

At 2 bucks a gallon, I'd have them come.

Caller ID shows the number as 888-308-8245.  Nothing shows up on a Google search for it. They called my house twice yesterday and once the day before. I must be a target.

Wrap it around your tallywhacker and tell her to come get it.

I'm getting four or five calls a day for various candidates.  It will be nice to get past this bullshit blitz after the election.  It's all computer driven recorded messages that go past my "no solicitations" message and just gibber.
