Ok, here 'tis:  TLE with night sights.  How does the CDP shoot, does the aluminum frame make a difference? I would think aluminum would be a weak material for lots of .45 to bang on.  I held one at a gun show last week and it was significantly lighter, seems like it would be a great CCW.

The gun holds up well but after 200 rnds my arm starts to ache. You dont want to shoot a 24 ounce gun with 230 gr 45 ACP too much.
I practice more with my full size SA and just familiarity practice with the CDP at the end of the session.
Its a great accurate gun and it doesnt hurt to shoot for 50 or so rounds but it builds up.
I could never do a tac pistol course with it but I could shoot my full size all day long.

I like the aluminum frames.   I don't have thousands and thousands of round yet, but so far, so good.

That CDP II is my daily carry, and I used it for my Tactical Handgun course.  Ran like a champ.  3 days, 800 rounds.

Note - the Tactical Custom is an AL frame too.

ALso note, the stock mags with split metal followers can damage AL frames.  All Wilson 47D's for me.

Hang around for awhile and you will find that most of us are not "Nuts" and that we are a very diverse group with all different backgrounds and employment.  You don't need to be rich to have the things you want, just learn to manage your finances properly.

"...and if you can't afford it, fuckin finance it...."
ps, what movie was that from?

Eternally Indebted obviously hasn't been to an AR15.com Missouri Defensive Carbine Club shoot yet.

I think you would be surprised at what some of your fellow Missourians have, my young apprentice...
