Ok so i got the october issue of CheaperThanDirt and in it i found a "10/22 bayonet Lug.  All steel lug that slides on a 10/22 barrel and connects to the end of the forearm to attach a bayonet, complete with swivel sling."  Anybody know anything about this?  I cant find anything on the internet or on their own website on this very strange item.  I'm mainly currious about how this would actually attach to the gun since from the picture it looks like you couldnt even have a front sight or anything.

that'd be AWB legal wouldn't it? since it would only be a detachable mag and 1 evil feature
I'll get one

Rimfire doesnt meet AWB wording in CA so it would be legal.  I'm just wondering how it would work.  It looks like it would accept any bayonet that has a slot on the handle for the lug to slide into.

So when you run out of ammo you can use it as a javelin...

I wonder what model of bayonet could be used?

Lol yeah the whole thing behind the assault weapon 22 set up is "because i can" this brings new meaning in CA since most center fire rifles are not an option.  I'm thinking of emailing CTD to get some dirt on this "new item"

Just in case you are surrounded by killer jihadi bunnies and you ran out of ammo.  You'd rather do a banzai charge than be captured alive.

The lug fits a swiss army knife.

I was intrigued by that too. It most resembles a carbine bayo lug, I wonder if it would fit a carbine bayonet.
I think the 10-22 barrel would be too small.
I would have bought it if I had a carbine 10-22, I have the rifle version w/o the barrel retaining band.

I dunno... but it would look kinda groovy with a 1862 Zouave Bayonet on it.

Oh come on!  No one has photochopped Sting from LOTR onto the front of a 10/22 yet?

that must be it, only fits the carbine version because it doesnt look like a front sight let alone the barrel band would fit into this thing.  Yeah its part RGR-101 but isnt on the website yet.

It take an M16 bayo!!  The lug is adjustable to move to fit it!!  Since my new sporter has no lug I gave my Bayo to my son-in-law for his birthday for his side-folder Mini-14!
