Kennedy couldn't do it, Carter was a clusterfuck with any military action, and Clinton was too concerned about public opinion to take the measures that he needed to secure homeland security. Too "touchy-feely" for me. If Kerry wins, God forbid it... I want to be witness to liberal ass whoopings in unheard of amounts. |

How can there be free discourse in an environment like that, when the most obvious explanations for losing are verboten, and you have to wait to hear the official line for you to agree with?
At a time when such dissent and open exchange of ideas is most valuable. DU puts down the jackboot and says "Don't remind us why we were wrong. We dont want to hear it." They're completely unwilling to face any sort of criticism, and thus are more likely to keep making the same mistakes. It'd be sad if they weren't my enemies. Fools. |
