Kerry's utter lack of oversight of the intelligence community. He is on the Senate intelligence committee, isn't he? Why did he learn about Al Qa Qaa from the New York Times?

Because he'd have to go to work in order to get the Intelligence Breifings!  IIRC he's worked about 1 day this year (AWB vote)

I believe he missed 72% of all his meeting with the Senate Intelligence Committe.  Kerry did not attend a meeting for a full year after the first World Trade Center bombing!
